July Membership Report

membshipreport-smallThe June Membership Report has been released, and a copy can be found here. I have started to compile a running chart of how our Region’s BSM numbers are trending. Membership numbers are trending down, and we need to boost this. I have continued the program of calling lapsed members.

This report has some interesting charts as usual. One word of reminder though – these are tracking over a one-year period just prior to a highly contentious election and will show volatility. For a better gauge of long-range growth view over longer periods of time. However, it is still critical that we focus on retention. New donors/members may have come because we were Not-Tump and Not-Hillary – but we need to convert that to Yes-Libertarian.

Active Donors are still dropping:

New Donors are hop-scotching along a pattern:

Lapsed donors dropped (that’s a good thing):

And renewing donors are showing the anticipated (but in no sense should we be complacent) volatility:

June 2017 End-of-Month Financial Report Released

annual-report

The June End-of Month Financial Reports are attached. The reserve is now down to only $111,075.

Dr. Frank Clinard, Jr., of Los Alamos, NM, left a bequest of $111,863 to the LNC. His bequest was booked as revenue in June. The FEC has ruled that contribution limits apply to bequests. The LNC is still litigating the limit. The amount over the $33,900 limit for general funds is being placed in an escrow account.

Dr. Clinard (1933-2016) was the world authority on Radiation Damage in Materials at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Fellow of the American Ceramics Society, Libertarian candidate for New Mexico State Senate in 1992, and served as the LPNM Public Relations Director.
